School Policies & Student Information
Everything you need to know about enrolling in and completing your courses with Legacy Real Estate Institute.
Course Delivery
All courses are delivered 100% online and self-paced through our secure learning platform. Students must create a separate account on that platform to register for and access their course.
Course Materials & Final Exams
- The cost of each course includes access to the eBook textbook.
- Students must complete all assigned reading modules and chapter quizzes before becoming eligible to take the final exam.
- Up to two attempts at the final exam are included with the cost of each course.
Course Access Period
Course access is valid for six months from the date of purchase, with extensions available up to one full year if you need additional time.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
- We offer a 30-day limited money-back guarantee from the date of purchase.
- Refunds cannot be issued once a final exam has been completed.
- Exam Prep courses are non-refundable.
Attendance & Progress
Because our courses are self-paced, there are no set class times. Students are responsible for completing all reading modules and passing all chapter quizzes to progress to the final exam and complete the course.
Student Conduct & Academic Integrity
Students are expected to complete all coursework and examinations honestly and independently. Any form of academic dishonesty may result in removal from the course without refund.
Grievances & Complaints

Complaints regarding a TREC-approved provider may also be filed directly with the Texas Real Estate Commission at trec.texas.gov.
Fitness Determination
If you have a criminal history or other background concern that may affect your ability to become licensed, TREC recommends requesting a Fitness Determination before enrolling. Contact us if you have questions.

Your personal information is used only to deliver your course, provide support, and meet TREC reporting requirements. We do not sell your information.
